Here's a closer look at where this huge influx of homebuyers is coming from.

You might’ve noticed a big influx in homebuyers in our real estate market. Where have they come from? Two main things are bringing them here:

1. Low interest rates. This is especially true of first-time homebuyers. They’re starting to realize that they could have a mortgage payment that is equal to or less than what they’re already paying in rent.

“Single-family homes with a little land are the most sought-after.”

2. The COVID pandemic. Employers are encouraging employees to work from home to prevent the spread of the disease. This is enabling employees to consider living further from their place of work. We’re seeing huge demand in counties such as Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, and Delaware. Single-family homes with a little land are the most sought-after, and larger homes are still selling quickly and for top dollar. Secondary home sales have taken off as well in areas like the Jersey Shore, Maryland Shore, and the Poconos.
